Morgue

Software used - Maya, Substance Painter, Arnold, Nuke

The abandoned morgue was one of my school projects. The scenario was set to "Dystopia" and the first thing that came into my mind was a morgue, which leads to misery and desperation.  This is my first time creating a creepy interior scene. I was inspired by an artist jcomp who had shared a couple of abandoned environments on Freepik.

I enjoy building this kind of horror genre especially when people say it's terrifying.

 

All the models were made in Maya. Textures were made in Substance Painter and at last rendered in Arnold. I had tried different kinds of lighting and atmosphere for look development. There are so many possibilities to play with different lights. The final result ends up like this.
